Milford Regional Medical Center is a full-service teaching hospital located at the intersection of Routes 16 and 140, near downtown Milford, MA. We have 148 beds and provide acute care to a region of over 20 towns. Our medical staff consists of over 300 primary care and specialty physicians who are trained in the latest procedures and technologies. They provide personalized care in a warm and caring environment. Many of our physicians also hold teaching appointments at New England's finest medical schools, helping to train the doctors of tomorrow.

Milford Regional Physician Group was founded in 1992 as Tri-County Medical Associates. We are a large, non-profit, multi-specialty group practice with a variety of outpatient primary care and specialty offices in the MetroWest and Blackstone Valley regions. Our practices have efficient workflows to ensure excellent access, regular health screenings, and strong patient care. Milford Regional Offers several programs to support and enhance employee well-being at no cost, such as:

An EAP (employee assistance program) that helps with emotional and personal concerns like stress at home and work, alcohol and drug use, family and relationship issues. Life coaching, caregiving, legal and financial referrals are also available.

A no cost therapy program to help with back, knee, hip, neck or shoulder pain. A health coach will tailor exercise therapy and education to you, your schedule and your pace.

A diabetes management digital platform that comes with personal coaching from a certified diabetes educator. Participants receive a connected meter with online account, and support from coaches about nutrition, lifestyle and more.

A quarterly employee Well-Being Matters newsletter which offers wellness strategies for topics such as stress relief, burn out avoidance, healthy diet, lowering blood pressure and much more!

We welcome students at Milford Regional! From cooperative education programs in partnership with local technical high schools, internships for students from various allied health programs, and clinical rotations for advanced practice students to nursing student summer jobs and newly licensed nursing graduates, there’s a place for students and new grads of all kinds at Milford Regional.

Current Students
Milford Regional Offers educational opportunities (i.e. shadowing, preceptorships, etc.) for students interested in healthcare careers. Although we cannot guarantee availability, we do encourage students of all levels to reach out with questions. For those interested in Medical Assistant externships, Advanced Practice Provider preceptorships or other outpatient student opportunities please send your request for information to: MRPGStudents@milreg.org.

Nursing Students and New RN Grads
Milford Regional is the perfect environment for the newly licensed nurse (NLN’s) to begin their career in nursing! We are known for our excellent Transition-to-Practice Orientation Program which is designed to support and encourage NLN’s as they further their professional growth and development under the guidance of the education and leadership teams. This year-long program includes both classroom leaning and clinical practice.

For students currently enrolled in nursing school or healthcare orientated majors (w/CNA certification), we offer the opportunity to work summers and school breaks as a Student Nursing Assistant (must have completed 1 med/surg rotation) or Student Nurse Clerk Aide. Summer opportunities also exist in other departments. For more information on these opportunities, please send your request for information to: HumanResources@milreg.org.
